Tomeka Marie Kimbrough, a visionary entrepreneur born in Youngstown, OH in 1974, brings a wealth of experience and a profound commitment to her community. From owning and operating her first business, the "Hopping Popcorn Company," at the age of 6 to launching Just Think Ahead Insurance (JTAIO) in 2007, Ms. Kimbrough has been a trailblazer in her endeavors.

With a solid foundation at Williamson Elementary School, where she learned the ropes of business, Ms. Kimbrough's journey continued to flourish. Her exposure to the internet since 1991 catalyzed her growth, enabling her to navigate the complexities of today's digital and technical landscape.

Ms. Kimbrough's professional journey has seen her collaborate with presidential mandated platforms and influential figures like Mr. Warren Buffet, always with a focus on uplifting the black community. Through her involvement in various boards, she has tirelessly worked to address challenges affecting the black community, both personally and professionally.

In 2007, Ms. Kimbrough founded JTAIO in Atlanta, GA, driven by a mission to empower women in an industry traditionally dominated by white men. Her patent-pending model revolutionizes risk transfer to the black community, offering content, relationships, and resources to create a fairer and unbiased risk factor.

As a mother of five children, Ms. Kimbrough has faced personal challenges, including navigating her son's heart defects and her twins' premature birth. Her experiences have deepened her understanding of the impact of institutionalized racism and motivated her to bring about positive change.

Although her 2017 bid for Georgia Insurance Commissioner was cut short due to her mother's illness, Ms. Kimbrough's contributions to the industry are indisputable. Her dedication to community and insurance innovation remains unwavering, positioning her as a leader committed to reshaping insurance practices through indemnity innovation models.
